I bought Battlefield 2 recently and played the demo for a while. Battlefield advised to use 77.30 and now Nvidia has release 77.72? Are one of these drivers better for battlefield 2 performance wise? Any issues on stability for either one?

Anyone else having video playback issues with the 77.72's? Me and 3 people I know are all having washed out video playback with these drivers. And it's not in any one particular app either, seems like it's happening across the board, Winamp, WMP, Bosplayer...

Anyone else notice this?

Me: 6800 Ultra

3 people I know: 6800 GT's

Go to color tab in Nvidia Control Panel and select "all" to adjust everythings' colour. Then hit "restore defaults" and aply. Video should be OK now ;)

Coo man, I'll try it when I get home!

BTW, did you try these drivers with games like BF2? You think the XG drivers are that much better over these (stable and all)?

XG offer better IQ with the same or slightly higher performance. IMO they are the best Nvidia drivers out there ;)

Thanks McArra, I had the same problem too and that solved the problem. Why the hell did nvidia ship the drivers in that state anyway...?
