which Download Manager?

download accelerator plus. opening up 4 connections purely kicks ass, since a 60k download could easily -> 120k per sec download.

I've used both GetRight and Download Accelerator with my computer, Win98 and 56k modem, and found them to be about the same. I liked the GetRight interface a little better, so I am still using it, while I uninstalled DA.

Getright!

Tried Gozilla, but after it completed a couple of 30+meg downloads it wouldn't convert the file from an unfinished download!? Being on a 56k connection, I uninstalled it ASAP.

I use Gozilla because Getright would crash more than it would actually run. Though, I must admit that the roar scared the crap out of me the first few downloads. :Q

Never had that problem with gozilla. It has worked flawlessly
for me. Even at 56k.
As far as GetRight goes, it sometimes gives errors forcing a reboot.
Always have to correct the problem with NDD.

Hehe, I guess we can mark this down as, "WTF is up with that!?", because I've never(been using Getright for over a year)had an error with Getright. 🙂
