Which do you think are more technologically advanced overall Import or Domestic Cars?

oh no.... <brings out flame-retardant suit>

This probably isn't a good question to ask here: its going to degenerate into a "ricers suck!"/"domestics are a POS" thread, once again.

In all honesty, it depends on the models being compared. A lot. I think the domestics were sadly outstripped in the 1980s... but they have made a resurgence as of late (look at the new engine in the TrailBlazer, for instance). Now, they just need to get their interiors and fit-and-finish up to snuff... and realize that people are willing to pay a little bit more for a car that will still be running (and possibly look good) in 8 years.

As much as I'd like to disagree with myself my uneducated answer would be r1cers seem to get lots of horse out of there blocks, but the past few years domestics seem to be catching up. I could put a comment here on the new 10hp decals I saw, but i won't🙂

yep yep. you should add "they're the same these days" to the poll. I might give a slight edge to imports, but it's more about reliabiliy than technological achievement. See also: JD power...

Nissan 4 Evar BIOTCH.

It all depends on the car. A Cadillac CTS is gonna be more technologically advanced than a honda Civic, but a Honda S2000 is more advanced the a chevy cavilier

Dont ask here.

According to the tools here anything not from the land of the rising sun or the EU is a pile of crap on wheels.

Yes, the fanboy-ism here on the boards is outrageous.

Another comment (to add to my other statement): the domestic car-makers tend to spend their time and money on what makes them money, i.e. trucks and sports cars. The domestic mid-size sedan is in SAD need of redesign: the Lumina, Taurus, and Intrepid aren't even competitive in the market, in my opinion. But their trucks are top-notch (the Silverado has been best pick-up by C&D for like three years in a row?)... and the Corvette and Viper are also world-class in their price-range.
