That Honey Oat r0x0rs your b0x0rs! 😛

I love good sourdough, rye, pumpernickel and other real breads. Most white bread is lame, neutered paste and perversatives.

Really depends on the brand of bread, some white others wheat. Also if I have wheat for two weeks I'll get tired of it and go white, only to go wheat again in two weeks.

honey oat wheatberry or something... holds up soo much better for sandwiches and tastes better too.

rye is the ultimate toast though.

It totally depends on the use...

Toast = Sourdough or Rye
PB&J = Wheat
Garlic Bread = White (French)
Ham Sandwich = White
Roast Beef = Wheat

Etc...

I love a good, fresh french bread, with a chewy crust and tender insides. It is wonderful dipped in olive oil and toasted garlic. plus, i makes awesome french toast!

I am surprised so many voted for wheat!

True. Most white bread is pasty crap containing low quality starches. I think the only reason it even sells is because many parents raise their kids on it and other extremely bland foods. Once you get used to having some flavor the whitebread becomes very unappetizing.

Personally I like the breads that have some mass to them as well instead of wheat breads like Homepride and Roman Meal that you could scrunch into a ball.

I perfer any bread with flavor. I like rye but wheat is a bit better - it got my vote. Plus we all need the vitamins and fiber that white bread lacks. The only time I use white bread is if it is for garlic bread or cheese bread - since then we don't want the flavor of the bread, but of the toppings.

Umm you might want to read the Nutritonal label again and compare the two. All bread is wheat they get the dark color from molasses and brown sugar.

If you want truly healthy bread buy WHOLE GRAIN bread. the label must say whole grain because the bread was made with all 3 parts of the grain.
