Which digicam should i get

i like the sony purely for cosmetics. hate to have to buy their memory stick. but the big screen is nice.
 
don't get the T1. 2 of my buddies have the T1, and my SD300 is much better. SD cards are cheaper and close up pics are much more clear on the SD300, even though the T1 is 5 mP.

I'm weighing cameras right now also. I desperately wanted the Sony for the better nighttime clarity (Canon is supposedly inferior in this regard) but the memory stick and its cost is a deal breaker for me. So it looks like I'll go with a Canon again but there's so many choices... S500... SD400... SD300... A510/520. :|

I'm reading the SD300 has terrible red-eye. Anyway, good nighttime and macro, decent screen size - who wins ?

I just got a canon SD200 from walmart a couple days ago for $200 on clearance. It's the same as the SD300 but with 3.2 MP instead of 4.1. Lemme tell you, canon is awesome. BTW, from what I've read, they perform better than sony's for darker nighttime shots. Before this I had a Powershot S300 and that's held up very nicely over the years, I'm looking forward to using the SD200. It's so damn small and fast, it's crazy!
