Which Diganositc Post card should I get?

I have a very strange and annoying problem with my mobo (well, i think its the mobo). The whole monitor screen just freezes. No errors, nothing. Nothing in the event viewer after reboot. This only happens once a day or once every two days. Everything goes back to normal after a reboot. Also, it only occurs when I am using a web browser: Firefox or opera, and I have noticed that when I try to highlight something with the usb mouse by holding the left button, then that is when it happens (not always though, maybe once a day, sometimes it happens when I am not even higlighting). Problem is that I dunno if the mouse is the issue or the usb port or the mobo. The only hint I ever got was one long continous beep when it happened, that was it. The beep never happened again when it frooze, I just got it once. So, I am looking to purchase a diagnostic card, but am not sure which one. I found this on ebay:

I mean, I am not getting any errors, so I have to get a card, right? I have already done spyware/virus scans and checked out the ram and Hard drive with diagnostic software. Also, the temperatures seem fine too and it doesn't freeze when running orthos or prime95.

Mobo: K8N neo4 platinum
3800+ X2
1GB DDR ram
6600GT

Those diags cards are going to give you what hardware errors you have, yours sounds like it could be either hardware or software. If you think it's the mouse, try a different mouse...maybe a PS/2.

I agree with the possible mouse problem - had to un-install SetPoint by Logitech interfering with my IDE drivers.

The errors would show in the Event Viewer as the "IDE drive bad controller".
