Which DDR2 RAM for a repurposed Q6600 in an overclockable build?

I have an old system that I'm giving to a friend. Its based on an Asus P5K Deluxe Wifi - one of the best of its time. He has an old Dell with a Q6600 (compared to the Core2 E6300 1.8Ghz @ 3.2Ghz currently in the rif). Quite obviously, I think its best that we pull the Q6600 out of the Dell and stick it in my old system's motherboard.

But I only have 4x1GB DDR2 sticks and we want to upgrade the ram - Probably 4x4GB or 4x2GB depending on cost.

The motherboard supports DDR2 1066mhz which would match the CPU - but we plan to overclock as much as we can.

Which RAM should we buy? Options are limited to whatever we can find at our local Micro Center tomorrow. They usually have bins of used RAM. What should we look for?

Here's the Micro Center link - make sure the Northern VA store up top is prechosen:

ddr2 800 1.8v 5-5-5-15 2gb

you get your best performance at a 1:1 memory to fsb ratio so getting extreme memory will be a waste. even settling for ddr2 667 can be an option if you only plan to go to 333fsb or slightly higher.

Also, just to clarify, DDR2-1066 is not the RAM that matches the native clock speed of the Q6600. DDR2-533 is.

Intel Core2 CPUs counted their bus speed as four times the actual front-side bus frequency. DDR2's speed is advertised as double the actual front-side bus frequency. Therefore, to get the matching RAM you divide the CPU bus speed Intel advertises by 2.

It doesn't actually matter much in practice. I have DDR2-800 running at DDR2-533 in my system. The point is just that there's no reason to buy (most likely) more expensive DDR2-1066.
