I was at the campus computer store yesterday to pick up an ethernet cable for the lab where I work. Sure, it's no surprise that a major University in the Bay Area has a hard-on for Apple products--they are certainly everywhere--but they have a rack of books, and one of the titles:

"Mac: Not Simply a Computer, but a Way of Life." Seriously....WTF? Why do these people believe that their sluggish white boxes will suck them off and make a sammich afterward? From where does this mentality derive?
