All snobs in general are pretty bad, but if their snobbery benefits people then I don't care.

For example, both computer and food snobs can be of benefit. The food snob can cook (hopefully), and the computer snob can fix things.

A TV snob can just tell you how much better he is than you because he doesn't have a TV.
