butter for cooking, vegetable oil spread for something like bread and butter (but I don't really consume either anymore... too fattening when I'm trying to lose weight)

it's not so much a desire to have the best for yourself but the crushing condescension towards anyone who thinks differently (whether "differently" is buying a dell or throwing a slice of government cheese on a sandwich)

Computers don't have the centuries of history required to generate true snobbery. The names of most of computerdom's "heroes" are too easy to pronounce. It's easier to be a snob when you're putting on a fake french accent to utter some chef's name than when your great men are named "Bill" and "Steve".

Well, then, they both suck but I do think that the worst of food snobs can be more constantly insufferable.

I've worked in IT positions, top plate restaurants, and a Whole Foods deli. I'd definitely have to say food snobs are far more smug (from what I've seen anyway).

the U.S. Department of Agriculture has no standards and allows egg producers to freely label any egg as a free range egg.

lol, kinda like the dolts that drink bottled water because it's cleaner. Lake Michigan water is some of the cleanest tap water in the country. Bottled water is not tested by the FDA or EPA and is typically just tap water from another state anyways.

Just the other day I was standing in the frozen foods isle and one of those food snobs came up to me and started talking about some nonsense, so I ripped his face off, fried it in butter, and started serving it to other customers. They all loved it.

Dude, WTF are you talking about? If your 99.999% oxygen-free connected audio equipment doesn't allow you to tell the difference between 18kHz and 19kHz with ease, then just throw it out the damn window!

Oh, and vinyl by a mile! I'm SUPER serial!!!
