Which credit card to go with?

This is my first time applying (I started working full time Sept. of last year -- after finishing high school if that makes any difference) and I currently have an account with Suntrust (debit card).

I saw someone's signature linking to http://www.bettercreditcard.com/.. could anyone recommend a card that's "easy" to apply for? Or are they all easy in general?

Will these matter?
-Am not a college student (work full time -- but going to college next year)
-Do not have a drivers license/car

I just got a Citi Dividend Platinum card...just to increase my credit score. This is my 3rd card, so I dont need anymore.

I generally use my USbank Platnium card, rather good % and some really nice rewards program.

Are you still a student?

If you have $500 saved up, I would consider a secured credit card with SunTrust or get a co-signer (parent, brother, sister, etc.)

If you're going to be paying your balance in full every month (which is the best way to use credit cards) and you're a college student, then you should consider the Citi mtvU and Citi Driver's Edge for Students cards. (I wish I could get the Citi mtvU card.)

You can use the rewards calculator mentioned in my signature to see which credit card will pay you the most in rewards for your normal spending.

Citi Platinum. That was my first card; I got it a month after I turned 18. Not sure if they still give those out to students but I had been working for a year, so you might want to look into that. $1200 starting limit.

Applied. Good thing the drivers license wasn't a requirement.

Good choice.

Did you receive an immediate credit decision?

Huh? Don't think so.

What happened after you applied and clicked submit?

Nah, I don't think I got an immediate decision.
