Which credit card is best for me? Which would you choose?

Currently with RBC, not very happy with them and in 4 years got measly $23 worth of rewards points = useless.

I would prefer something that is like 1% cash back on purchases with no annual fee but open to any card. I would need to be able to do online banking, not sure if they all do that. I spend maybe $6,000/year on my VISA on car insurance, gas, cell phone, internet, groceries, beer & misc...

List of all CASH BACK credit cards in Ontario

I've narrowed it down to:
BMO Mosaik MasterCard
CIBC Dividend Card
Citi Enrich MasterCard
MBNA PremierRewards® Platinum Plus® MasterCard
Scotia No-Fee Moneyback VISA
Capitol One Cash Back Platinum MasterCard

There is also the TD Rebate Rewards VISA but it is only 0.5% for the first $3,000. Though TD has great hours and great customer service.

Are some of these banks terrible to deal with? Do some have odd nuences? Can I keep my current savings account with RBC and pay off this new visa using that without paying some kind of transfer fee? Difference between VISA or Mastercard?

Thanks a lot

I honestly wouldn't bother switching. I have an RBC card from more than a decade ago and it's actually the only one that hasn't been a real piss licker and played around with rates and other rubbish. The amount you spend makes a negligible effect on points or bonuses.

I can say forget Citi, that company is a farce, and yes I do have one of their cards (I totally stopped using it except just to keep it alive for credit reasons).

Some of these are really lame once I started to read the fine print, the CIBC Divident card for example is only 0.25% cash back for first $1,500 , 0.5% to $3,000 , THEN you get 1.0%. Sneaky bastards

So far my top choices are:
MBNA PremierRewards® Platinum Plus® MasterCard << Best looking so far
Citi Enrich MasterCard
Capitol One Cash Back Platinum MasterCard
TD Rebate Rewards Visa Card

Too bad Citi has a bad rep, at first glance it seems like one of the best cards for me to get.

I really need to know if I there is a transfer fee by RBC for paying a credit card of a different bank with my RBC savings account.

No there isn't (assuming you are using the online banking).

And I would probably go with the CapitalOne card.
