in my opinion i think it is american express. for example, a laptop i bought with an amex was broken and out of warrany but under amex's warranty extenstion program i was given credit for the same amount of money i paid for the old laptop and i bought a new one.

are other companies similiar to this?

i remember when i had a platinum card with citibank most of their customer service reps i talked with just were not as customer service oriented.

i seen websites review credit cards on their financial benefit but i think customer service is also very important.

what are your opinions?

I have three and they've all been fine.

Every company will have their fair of good csrs, average ones, and bad ones..call enough times and you'll find your share of each.

Amex for me as well. Their warranty extension is fantastic and has saved me a couple thousand $ though I believe my MC also has this service.

Discover really tries hard to keep us happy. Chase Visa sucks @ss. We had an expensive baby monitor disappear from our hotel when we were on vacation (thinking the maid stole it) and were told that my platinum card needed a police report to do anything about it. Capitol One are also a bunch of lying cocksvckers. Before I started my business ten years ago I had capitol none for over five years with all accounts in good standing. I called and requested a $5000 credit increase to cover start up expenses. They were very rude, gave me a BS excuse and ended it "And that's why your not going to get a credit increase" Paid them off with a balance transfer to AMEX. Fast forward five years (five years ago) the business is doing well and I get a "pre-approved" offer for a VERY low fixed rate from Capitol One so I decide to let bygones be bygones and sent back the accepted offer. The card we got from them had a double digit rate WTF! I call and explained we hardly have any balances and never missed a payment on anything. They said because of our unused platinum cards we had too much potential debt. You can't win with those @ssholes, cancelled and told them not to send any more offers.
