The U.S. economy is awful. I will graduate from my masters degree in computer and information systems in May 2012. Plenty of other countries are doing much better even though they never passed a trillion dollar stimulus. Which country should I move to?

Switzerland ... but you will be challenged to know more than just 3 languages.

I'd go somewhere in Europe. Most people in most Western European countries speak English to some degree, though you'll probably still have language difficulties sometimes.

Don't you need to like, have a job lined up in a country before you can even have a chance of them allowing you to immigrate there?

If so, I'd say first step might be to see where you can actually get job offers, then go from there.

edit: But between those, I'd say Canada.

I've voted the UK, purely because it's awesome over here, but if the economy is your issue then maybe keep looking. Although things are getting better.

On behalf of ATOT, please move somewhere without internet.

What's you're fucking problem? The guy asked a valid question.

Hell, I'd consider moving out of this country if given the right opportunity. I have friends who were born here who have dual citizenship and live in another country...and they're actually happy and successful. Go figure.

I voted Canada. I'd avoid Europe, too many barriers to be employable there and lots of unemployment.

I could get Italian citizenship based on lineage, but I'd probably be insane to try and find a job there.

Are there any first world countries that particularly turn a blind eye to American law school debt? :)

Fuck freedom of speech! Someone's feelings might be hurt.

Forbs has new z land as the best country in the world to live.

It's not a freedom of speech issue or an offence issue it's a copyright problem

I don't blame you for wanting to get out of a third world country...
Leaving right wing talk radio would be worth it just in itself...
And it would be nice to live among sane people for a change...
You probably won't even need to take along your assault weapon(s)...

Move to the UK. I hear living in a welfare/nanny state is awesome. Seeing as how it produces such shining examples of homo sapiens such as neckarb, I don't see why you wouldn't want to move there.

It really is, I don't have to pay $200 to use an ambulance, or pay for some absurd health insurance. It's just free, as it should be.
