The U.S. since you can find and enjoy all sort of different cuisines, which is available in most of its major megalopolis. And this is one of the several reasons why it's quite difficult to get jaded with food when you're living in one of the many major cities in the U.S. 🙂

yeah yeah yeah.... italian food is good, mexican is good, SOME american food is good, Tai is great...

But only one is truly the best.... it is definitly JAPANESE

USA, has a version of every food in the world that tastes better than its native form.

Actually, I hate Americanized-Chinese food. It's not as good as the original. Only for Anglos who can't handle the intricate flavours, imho. 😉

Because there are no authentic chineese resteraunts in the US?

Definitely the US...we have everything within a few blocks of each other.

to all the people who said Italy, have you actually been there?

the food was so so when i was there during march. i kept trying different stuff the whole 6 day trip. nothing was too good. much rather have some good old food from here in the USA.

there is a reason we are the fattest country and its because we have the most delicious food.

I pick Italy
The USA of course ... unless of course you exclude the USA or give "American food" a different definition! We have all ethnic groups and cultural blend, so we get to taste all foods. Both the best and worst of cultures.

P.S. I like Chinese food too, but it gets tiring. And it all depends upon who cooks it. So many people don't know how to cook Chinese food, but they know how to exploit the demand since everyone's screaming Chinese food. There are good cooks and bad cooks in every culture.

Goto Tuscany and find an upscale restaurant... best food I've ever had in general.

Hell fvcking no! Screw all you "OMG JAPANESE FOOD IS TEH BEST!!!" people. The majority doesn't feel that way.

Ill take americanized italian/mexican/chinese please.

Chinese gets my vote. I've tried many types of food, Thai, Japanese, Indian, Italian, etc. Chinese is best.
