Which cordless desktop to use?

So far I've found 3 brands:
- Logitech bluetooth Dinovo Laser & Desktop MX5000)
- Microsoft MCE Keyboard)
- Gyration

My main purpose would be to control MCE & occasional FPS gaming.

I heard all the horror stories from Logitech bluetooth desktops owners (both Dinovo & MX5000 sets) -> problem with distance & lag concern me the most

MS MCE keyboard on the other hand seems to be pretty good, but the mouse pointer sucks (not for FPS gaming, for sure)

While Gyration, looking at the mouse, I know I won't be able to use it to play..

Is there anything outthere that I missed?

I'd hate to have wireless MCE keyboard, and run USB extension cable to my wired mouse...

I've Logitech V200 & Microsoft Intellimouse Explorer 2.0 -> both suck when used from the sofa, ~12' away from the PC

So G7 will work fine (normally) at a distance over 12 feet?
