Inspired by listening to Boortz this morning on the way in to work - Which continent do you think is the laziest?

edit: Ok, added Antartica. Yeah, it's a continent but nobody really lives there and if they did they wouldn't last long if they were lazy.

The Boortz poll is saying Europe all the way- BUT, I don't see how they can be any more lazy than us, unless they spend less time working and eating and more time working out-

You forgot antartica, but I would say Africa because hey that place is pathetic. I think a lot of people out there probably don't do a heck of a lot. I would not say north america is any lazier than europe...our working hours, for one thing, are much higher. I'd be inclined to embrace stereotypes and say that asia is the least lazy.

Boortz picked Europe as the laziest so I imagine the poll skewed that way after he said that. His reasoning was that the Europeans have embraced the welfare state and get the gov't to reduce their workhours, increase their vacation time, etc. Also because they take looong lunches.

I'd have to agree with him to a point because I remember the French government reducing the work week to like 35 hours with no overtime allowed to try and reduce unemployment. That had the opposite effect and when the French gov't tried to increase the number of work hours, the French people threw a hissy fit.

And, I don't think Africa is a place where you can be lazy and expect to live for long.
 
N. America. People may work here alot, but they don't do anything when they're working. C'mon, all you ATOT nefs have jobs (or maybe not) and what do you do all day?

I know lots of people who actually work at their jobs. Heck, you have to work at my job. Production is important. Not only that, but quite a few of us are going to school while working.

not enough un-lazy people in canada to out weigh the lazy masses in America. And we're talking about mexico. Mexicans are the stereotypical lazy people.

Heh, you obviously didn't hear the shitstorm Mexican President Vicente Fox created when he said that hardworking Mexicans do jobs in America that even blacks won't do. :shocked:
