In DC1, for the multiplayer you take turns during the same song, whereas in DC2 you go at the same time.

Agreed. Some Wii games have you strap the controller to your waist, but that's still stupid. Might as well do away with the controller altogether since it's an option.

well just go with the Wii if only for wife and it you would like to have fun together. but on the other hand if you buy it for your wife for you to play on it....just wait for the next Xbox.

I don't know about that, my wife and daughter are really liking dance central and you don't know jack.
