Which components use the 3.3V line?

I just discovered my 3.3V line is highly outta spec. What kind of behaviour should be expected. Ive had a plethora of WEIRD problems latley, and now im beginning to blame the PSU.

I have already replaced the mobo, which i guess was bad, maybe due to the 3.3V being only 1 at times

The 3.3V is only the orange wires on the PSU. They only go to the motherboard and SATA power connectors. In the case of the SATA power cables, no hard drive today even uses them, they are for future use.

That is all.

The 3.3V on the motherboard powers the memory and a few other components, but i'm unsure of exact details.

How are you measuring the voltage on the 3.3 V rail?

If it is by software... don't put too much faith in that.

What exactly is "highly outta spec?" Also, unless your measuring the voltages with a multimeter, take the readings with a grain of salt.

The 3.3v rail powers the RAM, the north and south bridges of the motherboard, and that's about all.
