Which components do you keep the longest?

1989 Packard Bell 286 keyboard. Still going. I've been through 4 g/f's since I got it, but my keyboard still loves me.

17" nanao moniter from 1992
Logitech serial mouseman from the 486 days
my cable mod nic.. 10 meg ISA eitherexpress, got it free from my school, i would asume it is about 10 years old or so.
my sound system is prob the oldest.. it is older than me infact. i have a onkyo recever that i got off of egay from the earily-mid 80's and a pair of project/1 speekers from the 70's

i dont know how old my 8x mitsumi CD ROM is, it is also froma 486.
some of my case fan's are well over 10 years old..
my sidewinder 3d pro joystic is a couple years old ('97?) it is the non-usb one.

sound card as well
VGA card anything that is PCI is decent
any ISA is too slow
1.6gig connor about 5 year old stilling working but about
.2 gig worth of bad sector
 
Floppy drive and IBM keyboard seem to have lasted the longest.

My old AT case lasted me quite a number of years but I switched to ATX so it had to go. Looks like WTX may or may not catch on which might mean another case swap.

I used my old Sony 15SF monitor for about 5 years before switching to a Sony F500.

Then my adaptect 2940UW lasted me quite a while before I switched to an Adaptec 39160. It really didn't need an upgrade, but it did improve performance.
 
I have a feeling it will be my case and trackballs (since I have a spare one of the same model for when it will break).
 
In terms of age, my FDD is the oldest. My 8X CD-ROM was 2nd oldest until I exchanged it for a 24X with a friend. Ironically I've been through >4 monitors(14"->15"->17"->21"->21&quot😉 and 3 cases(currently 6896A), but I expect my current 445Xpro and 6896A to last for a while.
Oh, my Yamaha DB50XG has been around me for 4 years too, and I just picked up an old IBM Model M to replace my original damaged Model M, I expect to be using that forever too.
 
Yeah, it would have to be my floppy drive. Jesus, this thing has probably seen at least 10 different computers.. It would have been my monitor, but I just upped it to a 21" Philips that I got for a song.. 🙂
 
Well, with my last 3 computers, I've built completely new systems and am still using the old systems. The only thing that moved from my trusty Celly 300a to my new Athlon 700 was my E-Tech 56kbps PCI WinModem. It's been going strong for 3 or so years now...

The only components remaining from my original pc purchased in 1996 (Pentium 133, 24 MB SIMMS) are the case and the floppy.

Hell, I even replaced the keyboard.
 
Floppy drive...

I have an SB32 that I had for 5 years before swapping it out for an SBLive about a month ago...

I really like the case that I have though...this one has been going for 3 years now.
 
Keyboard from my old P90 which I bought few months after it came out. 1gb Hd that came with it, and 1.2gb hd I bought few months later. The floppy drive, still I bought a new one just becasue the old one was so horribly dirty. 28.8kbps USR modem which is about 6months older than all the rest.
 
Acer keyboard, mfg'ed in 1994. None of those Windows keys for me. I broke one of those things that hold it in an angle 🙁

Oh, the 9V trasformer that powers my Cheap-Ass(TM) speakers - comes from a Sinclair Spectrum, 1985. Works great.
