Which component to switch out of this setup?

I'm building the following components together, but have just found out that my mobo, and the memory i've ordered are incompatible. Looking for advice on whether I should look for a new mobo, or for new memory. The mobo can't be returned, but the memory probably can. The memory is better than the mobo, so maybe I should keep that. Here's the techpile:

Core2 6300
Intel DG965WH mobo (can only take 1.8v ram apparently)
Corsair XMS2 2GB DDR2 800 (PC2 6400)
Leadtek WinFast PX8800 GTS TDH GeForce 8800GTS
Soundblaster X-Fi Fatality

Seems like maybe the mobo is the weak link here if it's not going to play well with the ram.
What do you all think? Drop the memory, or the mobo?

go for a E6400 if you plan on overclocking, Patriot or Buffalo Firestiks would be better and better priced than the XMS2

Well I think your motherboard is no good, you can sell that on ebay and buy a P5B or Gaigabyte D/DS3 to overclock that 6300 you got. Your current board is no good for OC, even if you got a 6600.

Turn the whole project over to a geek friend and let him/her finish for you.

Ha! I AM the geek friend.

I got a package deal from Intel that included the CPU and mobo with a copy of Vista ultimate.

Only found out after I ordered the RAM that the mobo is picky for 1.8v...

I'm still not sure which option (swapping out ram or mobo) is going to give me the most bang for the buck though.
