Alot of postings in the forum are along the lines of: Which compact NON-Slr camera should I get?
*post is a work in progress*
First - Do I need an SLR to be happy - read this article:
http://www.kenrockwell.com/tec...5000-dollar-camera.htm
If I left something out, I'll be happy to update the original.....
I hope this post will help to answer some of the confusion out there.
SD= SD memory Cards - cheapest and imho the best
XD = XD memory cards - primarly used by fuji and olympus. If you buy an olympus cam - get olympus xd memory because the panorama mode on some olympus cameras will only work with olympus xd cards.
