Which Comic is the Most Painful to Read?

I don't really have any opinions about the comics I listed, but lifted them off a list in the fark thread.

except for Family Circus, which makes baby Jesus cry with its sheer awfulness.

Family circus is definitely, by far, the worst comic of all time. See strong bad's take on comics, family circus is way worse.

How could ANYBODY hate dilbert? I think the comic is great and was very disappointed to find out the show got canceled. I just found the show to be very very funny.

Dilbert sucks but I really hate snuffy smith, the "epic" type cartoon whose name escapes me, Blondie, Mary Worth, for better or worse, Curtis, Rose is Rose, opus......

Out of those, I've always disliked Dennis the Menace. Marmaduke was pretty terrible, but I never read it enough for it to get to me; Garfield was never funny that I remember, but it didn't piss me off and it was short; Family Circus wasn't funny, but I enjoyed the well-drawn "path" strips that showed a character's progress around the house or around the neighborhood.

Dennis the Menace was, to me, just boring.

Ziggy is the best. One of the few reasons to open the comic page.

I like all the bad dog comics like Marmaduke, cause they're so bad and stupid they make me laugh.

Most days when I read the comics, specifically Family Circus, Marmaduke, Rose is Rose, etc., I really wonder how these have stayed in syndication because they are so bad. I often think HTF the writers of these strips keep their jobs.

So many awful comic strips...

I would agree to that list, except switch Cathy and Marmaduke. And Peanuts got really bad after the old man died.

Funny though, Family Circus and Garfield were my two favorite comics as a kid. Guess I'm an idiot.

I had a thread on this just yesterday... Close to Home makes me cringe like no other comic strip, including Family Circus. Its unfunniness sucks at my soul.
