Which COLOR all in one is the best bang for buck right now?

I am a fan of the Bother MFCs. I have bought 2 b/w ones so far (the second was because I wanted another, not that the first one died). I bought them on the recommendation of a friend who has been using his worry free for a while. With Color they are probably out of the price range, but I can only report on what I know.
 
Thanks everyone, he bought the fully loaded version of the 8500A...he is happy so far. Faxes sent are crystal clear, those received are great. Scanning is better than he expected and fast. The dual paper trays work properly.
