Applied to Duke, Furman, USC (University of South Carolina), and Clemson. Received a letter from USC saying they accepted me. Apparently they're desperate though for people interested in IT and engineering.

What about chyall?

It's been 6 years since I had joined college. I was accepted into Wake Forest, UConn, Alaska Anchorage, and University of Florida. I ended up going to UF 😀

I got rejected by UNC Chapel Hill.

None yet. Most Eary Action/Decision decisions don't come in until Thursday/Friday. Didn't apply to any rolling-based schools early enough. Deferred from MIT Early Action (which is ridiculous, anyway).

Nobody with 27 posts per day would be accepted to MIT 😛

Hush. And it used to be 35 😉

But seriously, MIT EA's acceptance rate is the same as the regular acceptance rate (which is 11%...). I much prefer UPenn's ED acceptance rate (around 30%).

was 2 for 2.

rochester institute of technology and rhode island school of design.

<~~ 4th year at RIT.

Applied last year for schools. Thank god that is done with, but it wasn't too stressful (the waiting is the hard part).

Rejected:
Northwestern (Early Decision)
Georgetown (Wait-listed first)

Accepted:
University of Chicago
Johns Hopkins
SUNY Binghamton
NYU
Boston University

Currently Attending: University of Chicago

I've got pending applications to...

Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology
Worcester Polytechnic Institute
Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute
Illinois Institute of Technology

Nothing yet, I should know in about a month or so.

If I get rejected to them all, I will apply to New Mexico Tech, Kettering, and University of Alaska Fairbanks.

When I applied four years ago (wow..I graduate soon and have to get a job..) I was accepted to all schools I applied to: Penn State, Stonehill, Dickinson, Quinnipiac, UMass, UConn, La Salle. I ended up going to La Salle because they gave me a huge scholarship. I definitely regret basing my decision on that.

I have a friend (who happens to be valedictorian) who also got deferred from MIT. He was rather pissed, as he mainly did early action to see if he needed to apply to any other colleges.

I'll be waiting for my letters of acceptance/rejection: stanford, harvard, a few UC.
