Which Clawhammer3000?

I have a DFI NF3250GB with a Newcastle2800+ADA2800AEP4AX oc to 2.56ghz using a TT Venus12

My friend just got the same mobo, and is looking to get a Clawhammer3000+ DTR chip.

The egg lists two versions:
AMA3000BEX5AR (SH7-CG)
AMA3000BEX5AP (SH7-C0)

Which one would overclock better?(Experience anyone?)

I noticed that my 2800 has a 70c max case temp and the above clawhammer is 95c max. Will they be running a lot hotter than the newcastle?

And since the clawhammer is an ex-FX chip if I remember correctly, about how much faster would it be than the newcastle at a hypothetical 2.56ghz?

I'd imagine a venice 3000+ chip would have more OC potential than a clawhammer. You'd be really lucky to get that clawhammer over 2.56ghz.

I have the oppurtunity to buy one for $90 from a supplier friend, so it's OK, just need to know CG or C0

BTW, why is newcastle DH7-CG (Lower letter) and clawhammer is SH7-CG?

CG= better meory cntroller and higher overclocks.... and it is a proven fact not jsut my word ...I ahve a CO clawhammer 3200+ how does 2.3ghz @ 1.7volts sound to you? not very good.. CG core
