Which city in the US you think has the largest collection of entitled a-holes?

You know what's really funny is that Austin is probably California Midwest. A lot of companies started moving there when the CA gobermint started fleecing them and for a better part of a few decades now, so a lot of CA transplants are in Austin. I wouldn't be surprised a lot of them are from SF/Bay Area.

Curious - when EAs make up the majority of a city, do they see each other as EAs? Do they have the self-awareness to understand they are also EAs? Or do they perceive themselves as normal, therefore all the other EAs are simply normal as well?

But those people in turn are usually from somewhere else. Of all the people I know in SF there are probably 2 bay area natives in the bunch.

Portland. The whole dog culture thing (they simply must be allowed to go everywhere including restaurants and grocery stores) and the vegan, gluten-free, pierced/tattooed, chickens-in-the-backyard, dirty hipster vibe grates on me.

But the attitudes carry over man. For instance, the transplants from BFE come to SF, pick up the entitled-asshole attitudes, kick it up a notch themselves. When they leave CA, they want to everyone else to know they came from CA (not necessarily where they're originally from), so then it becomes insufferable.

They do things without regards to established rules, social etiquette, or considerations. Because, you know, everything revolves around them, and sometimes their pets as well. Even the bums around here are entitled. It's freaking hilarious.

I really don't have the time too list the ways that a lot of people are wrong, but man, you spend enough time here and you'll realize that a lot of people are stuck up, entitled a-holes and for no good reasons.

I hate to burst your little political bubble, but libruls aren't the only large group of entitled assholes...Tea-Baggers, Neo-Cons, and the rest of the conservative corps are also entitled assholes...and tend to be even more greedy than the filthy libruls.

And fortunately, they tend not to take the subway. Except maybe during rush hour. But watching or listening to an entitled asshole on the subway during rush hour counts as free entertainment, so it's not all bad. ;)

Possibly even more than SF, we have the Austin-like problem in NYC, too. I generally make somewhat of an effort not to overtly behave in typical entitled asshole fashion (except when confronted by a non-native entitled asshole of course, in which case I show them how it's really done), but in my heart, I'm one of the native entitled assholes. But then of course, I'm entitled to be entitled, because I am a native, going back a coupla' few generations, no less.:whiste:

I don't know about having the largest collection, but it appears, year after year, that Washington DC has about 537 elected a-holes who feel pretty entitled all the time. :rolleyes:

Welcome to anywhere here in America. The reason they are assholes is because you guys are judging people you never got to know. You can push your shopping cart into the middle of an isle at Walmart and you'll be labeled an asshole by someone, so why bother judging others as being the very thing that you are as well?

I'd bet that the average "minimum" wage around San Fran is already at or over $15 an hour. There is no way that you could even afford a room (let alone an apartment) there for anything less than that.
