I'm looking for a charcoal grill for a balcony. Nothing tiny or tabletop. Just looking for normal size, sturdy, maybe with some smoking capabilities. :D

What would you recommend?

I have a Weber kettle grill also, does it's job quite well. One thing I do recommend is to replace the grill grate that comes with it with one that's a hinged grate. If I could direct link fromHomeDepot's website I would, but for some stupid reason it wont work. Do a search on their site for grate and you'll find what I'm talking about. It makes long grilling sessions a lot easier when you need to add more coals. :)

Ok, got it to work: http://www.homedepot.com/prel80/HDUS/EN_US/diy_main/pg_diy.jsp?prod_id=100044914

Anything from walmart will work. I personally wouldn't spend over $100 for grill unless you are grilling every weekend.

i just bought this baby last sat at Lowes and smoked two 8 pound briskets for 9 hours. man oh man were they good. if you want just the grill its like 119 bucks, the firebox was another 50 and then i also bought the cover to protect it since it is steel and i dont want ti to rust.

for fuel i used lump charcoal that i also got at lowes. I never ever use briquets again. real 100% hardwood charcoal. i also got lump hickory never use chips they have a funny smell. the lump wood is only wood, and some lumps still had the bark still on.

WEBER, ftw

Agreed. Weber is the only way to go. I went to Sears with my friend when he wanted to buy a grill. I told him to buy the Weber, but they had another brand which was bigger than the weber and cheaper. I still told him to get the weber but he didnt listen. By the time we were grilling that afternoon, he sure wished he'd listened to me. That thing was such a piece of crap. Webers are great quality and last for ever.

The reason to buy a Weber kettle is because it'll be the last charcoal grill you'll ever buy. They are immortal. You could probably will it to your grandchildren.

And yeah, get the lump charcoal. Briquets suck.
