brought it down to either the Antec 300 or the Cooler Master Centurion 590 both just a slight difference (within cents) of price.

The 300 is pretty amazing for the price. I've used a couple of them now, and once you throw in some additional fans the 300 can't really be beat for the price. It looks decent, has good airflow, and looks decent. Have I said it looks decent?

I'd take the 300 over the 590. If you're looking in the $40-$60 price range, also consider the new HAF 912, and the Silverstone PS02.

Whatever you get, budget for extra fans.

I think I'm going to go with the Antec 300 illusion because it does come WITH the extra fans and I want to try and keep the case as cool as possible.

I personally prefer the Coolermaster 590, the 300 has a very simple look which I like, but the drive cage on the 590 is very nice, and it is very room to work in.

I'm not sure where you're located, but the Microcenter near me has both these cases on display, so if you have one near you, you can go to the store and check them out for yourself. I found that way more helpful than reading online reviews and looking at pics.
