Which case would you get?

Fractal Design Define R3 is pretty quiet and has 8 3.5" drive bays:

But the airflow is questionable - I have to fully crank the fans on a hot day to keep things cool. Then again, I only use 2x 120mm intakes and 1x 120mm rear exhaust. I'm sure with 2x 120mm intakes and 2x 140mm top ehxausts it would be pretty cool even with low RPMs.

I have no particular budget in mind.

However, if a case costs more than $140, it better be noticably better than the Lian-Li PC-9F.

I'm primarily interested in ATX mid-tower cases that have no side window, excellent airflow, and near silent operation.

How can I tell if a case will accomidate the GTX 580 or GTX 590?

If they won't fit, how could I modify the case so it would?

I've learned that the Lian Li PC-9F will support up to 285mm video cards.

Case Labs M8

It's all the case you'll ever need. If you have a bunch of graphics cards, opt for the M10

Hope that helps. 🙂

I own 2 M10s and I have to say they are the best designed cases I've ever had. And I've probably owned 30-40 different styles.
