Which case do you prefer?

Lian Li PC-65 (aluminum) vs. Antec PLUSVIEW1000AMG

Which case do you think is better in regards to:

1) Looks
2) Cooling
3) Overall Usability & Ergonomics

Incase you're not sure of the cases...

Lian Li
Antec

i just went out and bought the antec over the weekend...its NICE...gotta a lot fo room too....i have pics if you wanna see some....PM me...just my 2 cents

Both cases are very nice to work with and both have nice airflow. The Antec has those ugly lavendar fan brackets (I painted mine immediately) which make working with fans very easy. The Lian-Li's black rivet-type things are ok once you get used to them but take much more effort. The thumbscrews on the Li-Li are a big plus, though you still have to screw in the drives. The Antec drive rails are a good idea, but I don't take my optical drives out much so it wasn't a great feature. The Antec is a bit roomier inside, but the removable mobo tray on the Li-Li makes up for that a bit. I recently switched from a Chieftec Dragon to a Lian-Li PC65b and I'm very happy with the new case. Both are well built and I doubt you could find a sharp edge if you tried. The Antec is probably a bit cheaper, and will often come bundled with a Truepower or Solution Series Antec PSU if that is a factor. The main difference, for me anyway, is the aesthetics of the Lian-Li cases. They are simple and beautiful. I'd say Lian-Li and CoolerMaster are making the sexiest cases around. You can't really go wrong either way though. There's a reason that these are 2 of the most popular cases around. They rock.

Luck!

Lian-Li
Chieftec

honestly and personally i hate the completely square look like the lian li. its just a box...but you could say that with every case. I dunno, i like the antec more.

Lian Li for several reasons, but the biggest is the fact that I hate doors, so the Antec is out.

I dunno I actually prefer the look of the antec more. I've never really understood why the lian lis are so popular, the look just doesn't do it for me.

I own a pc-65, so I'll vote for that. Its a very high quality case, and I like the brushed aluminum. I could care less if it doesn't have rounded corners.

I agree. With those two choices, I'd have to say the Antec because I don't like the Lian Li design (look) much at all.

i don't like the front of hte antec..too much work to open it it and pop a disc out!

LAZY!!!! But anyway, I'd take an Antec case over the Lian Li. The Lian Li is nice, but I'd take the Antec over it any day. The Lian Li is over priced in my opinion, $200 for just the case, wheres the power supply. Anyway, they are both nice cases, I'd get a Lian Li if it were not for a high price, the Antecs are at a reasonable price and some come with a power supply in them. So...

I have a Lian Li PC61B...it's ok.
I've had an Antec 1040B (though it wasn't Jet Black). It was ok.
I've also had a Fong Kai FK603. Kinda ugly, but great reviews...did an excellent job cooling.
I'm thinking of trading my PC61 for a FK320 if I can find someone willing to (& part with some difference).
Here's a link to their website to check the different models out.

I am a happy Lian-Li PC-60 owner.
It is a dream to work with.
I, for one, do not care for the look of the Antec cases (I always think alienware?!?)
And I HATE drive rails.

I say LIAN-LI.

I got an Antec case similar to that, just without the window, and I'm starting to regret it. It's a good case with good airflow and convenient, but it's giant and heavy as hell.

It is heavy as hell if you got the steel version, I got the aluminum version, I can practically spin that case on my finger its so light. I also have the steel version, it is real heavy when you have everything in it.

Damn, I didn't even know there's an aluminum version. =/
