I currently have a Leadtek Winfast GeForce256 DDR video card and am running it under Windows XP. I have been having a series of problems with the card of late, and have come to the conclusion that it is about time for a new video card. I have been looking over the Geforce4's but I am not all that sure which one would be best for me.
I have yet to find a guide that compares the 256 DDR to any of the newer models, so comparing is hard for me. Can anyone give me a short rundown on how performance would increase from the 256 DDR to a gf4 MX 460, and to a gf4 ti 4600? the price between the two is a large leap, and I am not sure if it would be practical if the performance increase isnt astounding. Also, if you have any other ideas, such as gf3's toss them in.
Thanks in advance for any help any of you may be able to provide.
