Which card manufacturers are considered best quality?

Which of the current video card manufacturers offer the best quality? It's been about 3 years since I bought a new card and it was an ASUS. Many of the current names I see are not familiar to me.

Thanks,
BGC

if you want nvidia get BFG
if you want ATI get ATI or Sapphire

that is only if you want the best of the best
Gainward, Leadtek are great also

^ + evga's not bad.

Well, which company's chipset do you plan on buying: ATI, Nvidia, or other?

I plan on getting an Nforce4 motherboard so I'll most likely get an Nvidia graphics card.

For NVidia: Leadtek, Gainward, and BFG overall at the top. If I were buying a new card, it would have to be a BFG. Too many real US tech support praises to ignore. However, Leadtek and Gainward will often have a better selection of cards to choose from, and Leadtek's newer cards (after the mad dual-fan 5900) are reasonably quiet, too.

For ATi, there's ATi, Sapphire (ATI's OEM, hint hint) and HIS. Some Asus and MSI in there, too.

BGF makes good cards. Most of their cards are OC (overclocked when you get it) BFG supposedly used higher quality components that can handle the overclock. Also, free 24/7 tech support and a limetime warranty.

Tech support sounds good, not sure what a 'lifetime' warranty means these days. I've got a computer and a couple of cards laying around that were manufactured by companies that no longer exist. LOL

Well the warranty is better than most, and BFG cards gets good review so i bet they will be around for awhile. I read one account on these forums that someone sent in a malfunctioning card that was a few years old, and received a new mid-level card from their new line, so that is pretty good.

Yup, a guy from hardforums.com sent in a BFG 5950 that went bad and got a 6800 GT for a replacement. Nice free upgrade!
