evga GTX 260, core 216, 896mb.
It's about a year old and works fine for me on a 22" Acer @ 1680x1050.
I play Grid, Crysis, World At War, Stalker [ShadowOf Chernoble] and such.
I see a lot of ATI cards being used here. Don't know what my next card will be.

surprised Nvidia #s are so low

That's because the lion's share of NV cards on Steam's survey are previous generation, which are lumped in with "on board graphics" in this poll. That's where you find all of us with 8800GT through GT250s. NV sold those in rat horde numbers for about two years while ATI had no competitive part. This forum was wearing "green" glasses during that time.

For 2009 the value offered by the 4 series was a no brainer. However, the 8800GT continues to be "good enough" for all but very, very few titles and many of us are sticking with one until pricing on the 5 series stabilizes and/or NV comes up with a compelling upgrade part.

Exactly. 9800GT here. No point upgrading really. I have 100-200fps in most games still so.... I am not sure when I will have a reason to upgrade but, I havnt seen anything worthwhile yet...

ATi HD4650 (the one in my sig). I don't need anything above that for what I do as I don't game with the latest games.
