A GeForce 2 Pro (Faster RAM = Better Performance) for a few dollars more than a GTS.

Forget about the MX. Get the GTS or pay a bit more for a GF2 Pro.

Go for the GTS. It leaves the MX in the dust once you get up to higher resolutions (1024x768x32)

I second the GeForce2 Pro. I picked one up a few weeks ago and with the stock cooling I was able to overclock it to 235/465 with ease (from stock 200/400). I am extremely happy with this video card (Asus v7700 Pure GeForce2 Pro). It screams in UT and in other games and I was able to get a 3dMark 2001 score of 4002 with it (18th score overall for my CPU category).

If you do decide to get a GF2 Pro, make sure that you get one with the 5ns RAM because there are some out there (Leadtek I think) that call themselves GeForce2 Pro's, but really only have 5.5ns RAM.

I don't want to be the one to disagree, but I have to : you should invest your cash in a better CPU rather than a 3D card,I think with the cash you would pay for a GTS you can get the MX and maybe a Duron 800 or so,you get more performance than with a p3-550 with a GTS.Of course, you will have to upgrade your mobo too,so...
