OK i want to get myself a new card but i am on a budget./. o here are the choices:
( I am living in INDIA and not all cards are available here so i have to choose between these. I have converted the prices to dollars for you benefit. As you will see the prices are a lot more here then in USA

)
1) Gainward geforce 4 ti-4200-128DDR Golden sample@ 220dollars(10750 Rupees)
2) Gainward geforce 4 ti4200-64DDR @ 190$( 9500Rs)
3) Pixelview geforce 4 ti4200-64DDR @ 180$ (9000Rs)
4) Asus geforce 4 ti4200-128DDR(4X) @ 200$(10000RS)
5) Hercules Radeon 9000Pro @ 190$

Unfortunately ati cards are out of my reach.(All above 250$) So gotta choose from these. Which is the best value for money. Budget is about 180$ but i can increase it a bit more if it is worth it. I want the best future proof card( And by that i mean a card that can play Halflife 2 and other games at reasonable resolution and OK settings)

Also does extra memory capacity make a difference? I think the 64DDR cards have faster memory. Is it better then to go for 64DDR or 128DDR?

holy mother of god! ANOTHER "which card is the best value" thread?!?!?!?!!?

ASUS V8420S... $145 SHIPPED... OVERCLOCKS TO Ti4600 SPEEDS AND BEYOND

dude, none of these cards are worth those prices!

find some1 on the FS/T forum here who's selling one of these cards and have them FedEx it to u!

Fedex to me.............. Unfortunately u have not taken into account the customs duty. even if the card is cheap there in Us(say about 120$) after paying customs duty and shipping it will be about double that price. More costlier then what I am getting here.
The only way is if its sent as a gift. then no customs.

OK I will chck it out..... But can i trust these stores... Is the product going to be OK. 'cos if something happens i can't do anything sitting here in India.
