Which Canon is Best

which canon to get

SD100 - 262
SD110 - 262
A75 - 262
A80 - 319

im leaning towards the SD110

any suggestions

needed more for taking pics of people...nothing really hardcore...something compact with some good functions...its for my sister

EOS 10D

out of thoes what do you want compactness or more functions, the SD 100,110 are smaller but the A80 has some more features

I?m going to say A80 if you want good features without dragging a heavy camera around.

Not really a definitive answer but he makes many of valid points.

If the batteries and swivel screen issues mentioned in the link are acceptable to you I would swear by the Canon Elf S400 camera. Its been replaced by the newer S410 and S500 camera, but the complaints of Redeye seem to plague the two new ones.

I have hear nothing but good words about the S400 except it might be prone to getting sand in the focus mechanism because its sooo easy to put in your pocket! Just get a small leather slipcase for it and you?ll be good to go.

out of your list - a80 - in general for digital crom canon - eos 1ds... the 1d mk2 camera is only apealing if your a sports/photojournalist - the 1ds has full frame sensor and larger sensor

i had sd100, sold it and got sd10 instead. if you want something compact for girl, go with sd10. nothing can beat its size. A75/A80 definitely for not her....I wouldn't consder bringing it around with me.

lol at the high end camea choices!

Get her the smallest one. She will like that more.

Another vote for S410 / 500 over the SD100 / 110.

If you don't need something so small, the next best pick would be A80.

I have the Canon A60 and A80. I love them both, but obviously I love the A80 more since it has so many more features.
