Which camera is better. Nikon Coolpix S60 or Sony Cybershot DSC-T700?

My girlfriend is looking for a new camera for Christmas and wants a touch screen one. She likes the look of both the Coolpix S60 and the Cybershot DSC-T700. I don't know much about still cameras so I couldn't really recommend one over the other to her. So any suggestions? Thanks!
 
also, the nikon image quality was crap. i was really surprised especially after my parents bought one and sent me pictures from it over email. we returned it and got the canon 880is instead
