which burner on the stove has the bigger flame?

On my stove the front left and back right are of the same strength, while the other two are of lower strength. I have no idea why that is.

Edit: all the burners are the same size.

It varies stove to stove. If the burners are all the same size then they are all (most likely) the same. Smaller burner = smaller flame.

It's her job to know her stove, so she is correct and don't try to argue it - bad idea. On my stove I have two very large burners - one front right, another back left.

On mine the front left is a higher burner and the back right is a lower power for simmering... It depends on the model of your stove...

On our stove, the front left burner is a definitely the hottest burner.

It was marketed as a "power burner" and even has a wok ring for real high temperature stir fries.

2nd strongest burner is the back right burner.

The burner with the largest orifice (located before the aspirator) will have the highest btu/h rating. Typically ranges with "power" burners have a single 40kbtu/h burner on the front left.

Mmmm, hot orifices.

On my stove, the front two and rear left are the same size, and the rear right is small.
