Which burner can record 8cm CD-R?

I read the spec of Sony CRX175A which states that the burner can read the 8cm disk but cannot record it. Can TEAC 24X or LITE-ON 24X record 8cm disks?

most tray loading burner-can do it..

plextor can, I was under the impression most of them can as long as they are tray loaded

I guess the 8cm CD's are the same as the mini. If so, look at your burner tray. If it has a smaller inner depression, that's for centering the mini's, and the chances are it will burn them. Both the Plextor and liteon 24x's will, for sure.

How much data can those mini-disks hold anyways?

Staples has Memorex 8 cm. discs which hold about 185 MB of data.

CRX175A's spec says:
"Disc diameter 12 cm
8 cm (read only) "
I guess it means that it can read but cannot burn 8 cm disks.

Regarding the 8 cm disc capacity, I've seen a disc whose cover states that it can hold 200+ Mb. And I've also seen a peculiar 8cm disc which is not round: both of its two ends are cut off. Interesting.
