you wasted a tremendous amount of money on ram in setup #2. go with value select like everyone said. with the extra money saved, upgrade the board to a dfi.

dont i need overclocking ram if i wanna overclock ?

maybe i should get a dfi board and corsair value ram ?

No, I hear the DFI doesn't like Corsair ValueSelect. Go with the OCZ Value VX, or maybe TwinMOS (both have been posted with links).

lol only porblem is thee out of stock ahhh !
maybe i will get the ocz ones now :-( the new newegg doesnt say when there gettign them back anymore

btw ribbon do you use that ram on a dfi board ? what kinda overclocks you get
