Gosh, I feel...inadequate. Here's mine:

AMD K6 200
Intel Pentium 233 (old laptop)
Intel Pentium III 533 (current rig)

I'm hoping to upgrade soon to a Socket 939 system, either an Athlon 64 or an Opteron 14x. I'll probably keep the new rig for four years too, upgrading it when the most powerful Socket 939 comes down to $150 a couple years from now.

I guess you could say I'm a poor man's gamer. I'm happy playing older games (available now for rock-bottom prices) and my favorite is the best online multiplayer ever released--Unreal Tournament 1999. (What a kick-ass buy it was for $10 back in early 2001.) I'm looking to build a new rig so that I can play some of the newer FPSes and also the upcoming UT 2007. (Sadly, the UT 1999 community is dying.)

What about other brands? :)

(Motorola 68000, 8MHz, but that was a Mac, not x86)
In order of acquisition (some of the low end machines were bought used to serve as routers, which explains why I'd get a 200MHz box after a 1.9Ghz)
Cyrix 486DX/2 50MHz
AMD K6-2 266Mhz
Intel PIII 700MHz
Intel Pentium 166MHz
Intel PIII 900Mhz (laptop)
Intel P4 1.9GHz Willamette
Intel Celeron 800MHz
Intel Pentium MMX 200Mhz
Intel Celeron 600MHz
Intel Celeron D 330 - 2.66GHz
Intel Pentium M 750 - 1.86GHz (laptop)

Next system will probably be an X2 3800+, given the forum has pretty much sold me on AMD :)

Markfw, you should force yourself to only upgrade when you can double your processing power, it's cheaper and more humane. :)
