I'm going for either Pontiac or Chevrolet

Pontiac
Aztek (no explanation needed)
Grand Am (Batmobile)
Bonneville (Batmobile)
Sunfire (BLEH)
Firebird (can we get another wing/scoop over here?:Q)

Chevrolet
Monte Carlo (WTF???:Q:Q)
Impala (FWD, V6, say it ain't so. And it looks like ASS)
Avalanche (haha, don't get me started)
Camaro (hmmm, enough front and rear overhang to make it longer than most 4 doors on the market, front end that looks like a FISH, err Chrysler Concorde)
SSR (VW New Beetle + El Camino = bastard step child)

As for consistently good-looking cars, I have to tip my hat to Audi, BMW and Oldsmobile (YES, I said Olds...Alero, Intrigue, Aurora, Bravada, all look quite handsome).

GM as a whole... some of the new Buicks are nasty as hell too.. it's not just Pontiac and Chevy...

I can't think of another company with more than a few ugly cars like GM, though..

Pontiac has the ugliest cars by far.

Other lame ones: Saturn, Suzuki

Mazda was struggling a couple years ago, but their new models along with Zoom Zoom Zoom has helped a lot.

Since I own a 2000 Camaro SS, i'm biased... I think the car looks great and at the very least, has the power to back up it's looks. I used to own an Audi A4 and it was a nice car but too boring. The import scene is so lame these days that I was glad to get rid of it. German cars, save for the porsche, all look the same... boring sedans with toaster like styling. I think this thread is just an American car bashing nef thread. As if everyone is so elite that they have to impress their personal tastes on other people.

I've found that most people pretend to dislike vettes/camaros/firebirds because of the stereotypes associated with those cars. To me, they're biggot snobs rather than the intelligent individuals they try to portray themselves as.

One man's beauty is another's beast.

This is a thread to voice your opinion. If you don't agree, that's your perogative. But calling people names b/c they don't agree with you is not the way to go. I find it funny that you call it a domestic bashing neff thread when I clearly stated how good Olds' cars look. Hmm, oh well...

Saturn, by far. I can't find one Saturn model that looks good. Biggest problems with Saturns are the front end, back end, and everything in between.

Dude have you looked at Pontiac cars? or are you too busy staring at your Camaro SS?

they are fvcking disgusting!

Just to prove you wrong.. I like American cars, and I drive one.. I don't bash any car as a whole because of where it's from.. and I like multiple cars from each spot.. Europe/Japan/North America

and I think that the GM's really are the ugliest.. I used to like their cars alot, but until they fix their problem stying, they'll just be considered ugly. Ford got pretty ugly too just a few years ago.. they are looking a bit better now.. (F-150 Lightning :Q )

so no, it's not an american car bashing nef thread.. it's a truthful thread! :D

Let me add Mitsubishi to the list.

The Montero, Montero Sport, Eclipse, Lancer, Diamante, etc all look fugly to me. Especially the Montero Sport and the Eclipse (shudders just thinking about the Eclipse:Q;)).

I would cast my vote against Pontiac. I think Chrysler should get an honorable mention for their PT Cruiser (and soon to be PT Cruiser convertible). That looks like a Geo Metro with Downs Syndrome.

WickedMotorcar, just out of curiousity do you post in the AW forum under the handle "Camaro SS - You could have had a V8"? Even though I love my A4, it's funny how you get everyone riled up at times (if it is indeed you)

The ugliest thing on the road is the Asstek, but the PT Cruiser isn't far behind....

Pontiacs are all about wings and scoops.

The sunfire is a pretty sharp looking car, considering what it costs.

Monte Carlo with the sport appearance package looks pretty good. With out that little spoiler it's pretty bad though.

Yes, BMWs and Audis look good.... But they all look the same, they just found something that works and stuck with it. At least GM tries different stuff, it's a shame they rarely succeed.

<< shudders just thinking about the Eclipse >>

So true! It was a sad day when Mitsubishi changed the styling and (especially) took away the turbo model :( I used to have a 1st generation Eagle Talon (Eclipse clone) and that car rocked! :D
