Which book to read?

...if I want to learn more about all the great leaders throughout the history such as Alexander, Napoleon, Caesar, Ghengis Khan,....
I don't want to read books that are dedicated to a single leader since they tend to go too much into details. Any book about 300 pages or so should do it.

I would do a google search or look at Amazon.com
