which board is better

me too and i dont really plan to overclock a lot. I plan to get a 3200+ and one of those boards from monarch and the price dif is $2. i was just wondering which you all liked and why?

another question i have is...will these 2 boards be able to upgrade to dual core processors once they come out? atleast until amd changes the socket again:p

Yes, they will both support dual core.

I have the DFI. It seems that it often takes a small bit of fiddling to get it working, but once its working it runs great.

The DFI's Karajan Audio module is acutally arguably just as good as the MSI's integrated Sound Blaster. Add that to the other DFI features... i would definitely take the DFI.

I've heard somewhere that with a little work the DFI (nonSLI) can be modded to run SLI... if there's any truth to that, it might be something to consider.
DFI almost certainly has more tweaking options in Bios, and of course it would be the better overclocker. Reliability and support are argueable. I know people who love and hate both companies.
