Which Black singers since "Baby it's cold outside"

StageLeft

No Lifer
Kids asked for this song, I remember hearing it over Christmas. There are a million versions of the song. THEY ARE ALL SH*T.

Except for the one with what sounded like an old black couple, I'm sure one of you knows it, who are the singers? thanks!

BTW I meant "sing" not "since", but whoever the hell programmed this forum software didn't see fit to allow editing of topic titles.

I think the version you are thinking of was done by Dean Martin. The one done by him and Doris Day is the one I always hear played everywhere over Christmas.

Ray Charles it is, thanks. There is a dione warwick version, too instead of betty and unfortunately the betty version appears off of youtube right now.

It's an excellent song that has been done by a ton of talented duos. I prefer a lot of the older versions to the more modern versions. Just listened to Bob Hope & Doris Day.

I was going to recommend Robert Palmer's version from Riding High, then I listened to it again. Nope.

For Robert Palmer classic goodness, stick with the Sailing Shoes / Hey Julia / Sneakin' Sally sequence from Sneaking Sally, or the Power Station CD.
