Without a doubt. 1006 is available at AMDMB.com (go to the files section).

I've been running 1006 for couple days now and it seems to be the most stable and most reliable BIOS for me so far.

I've been running 1005c since it came out and I've had no problems. Flash to a bios after reading that it's been good to most people, or you could potentially screw up your mobo.

I went from 1005c to 1006. Saw an increase in memory benchmarks... Both were stable for me.

From my experiences 1004D and 1005C have been very good, I couldn't comment on the 1006 because I have not used them myself.

I have been using the 1005, but I did not realize the 1006 was so good. I have been running real stable with the 1005, so I think I will stay with it for a while.

Hmmm - none of those mentioned her. 1003e3 modified Juggernaut's. The best with a duron as far as I am concerned for A7V. Tried them all and what I did not like with higher # Bioses is the disabling of PCI Master Cache for durons thereby disabling HLT.

lotust.
my friend told me that he overclocks using the soft bios, but I can't find the multiplier setting in there. Do you need a particular BIOS rev. ? I figured that was it, but I'm on 1005c right now & i still couldn't see that option.

Although my Tbird 800 is now @ 1000 on 1.75V & running pretty stable.
(Today is the RC5 all-day test ;))

Anyone with info about the soft BIOS, please let me know, cuz I'm sick of the dips
