For AMD go for a Abit NF7-S and a 2500+...if you go with Intel I don't know which mobo is good, but I've heard a lot of good stuff about the 2.4c and 2.6c

For intels I've been hearing the Asus P4P800 or the Abit IC7G are good boards for P4's.

Ouch... big mistake... could have got the same thing for $300 less with an XP2500

1. I didn't spend a dime
2. The 2500+ isn't running with the 400MHz FSB

:)

but you can make the 2500+ run with a 200 fsb...

a lot of people are getting into the 2.2 to 2.4 range with a 200 fsb with the 2500+'s

i'm thinking of getting a 2500+ as well...

This is the WCPUID from my 2500+. There is very little room for oc with the 3200+. Your gains are minimal at best over the 2500+. I can post up to 216/216, 11X216 fine but it fails under prime95. 200/200 11X200 is stable 24/7 no matter what I throw at it. 3200+ got to 221/221 11.5X221 max on air. Just not worth the extra $ at all. And using vapor cooling the two chips are even closer in max spec both @ around 2.8 ghz and 460 FSB. Not worth the extra $ for such a small gain in my opinion.
