I have a pretty huge music collection, but it's pretty hard to outdo the Beatles as no other band put out so many albums

I own 100% of the RHCP and GNR album catalogs (and all of Chinese Democracy that's available thus far :) ). I own 66% of the STP releases. I own all of the Velvet Revolver albums.

Red Hot Chili Peppers for me as well.

I think the three of us could go into hours upon hours of conversation about RHCP... you guys seem to be as much of a fan as I am.

Genesis - I have almost all their releases in both LP (33 and 45) and CD (multiple versions). I have a few on tape and SACD. I have a ton of bootlegs from them as well as entire catalogs of Banks, Collins, Gabriel, Hackett, Phillips (I'm missing a few of Ant's releases), and Rutherford.

Honorable mention:
King Crimson
Miles Davis
Yes
Dave Matthews Band
U2

Me: Genesis

Must be > 20 albums ... though I am uable to count them right now, as I am severly disorganized.

Best I can do is note that I've got 147 tracks by Genesis on my computer.

Before anyone starts yelling about how 80s adult contemporary sucks, you might want to look into the fact that Genesis was an *incredible* progressive rock band in the 70s.

Check out Elbow (available on emusic.com) if you want to get a taste of something very reminiscent of early Genesis that isn't synth heavy.

Alright Patrick
