I got some Klipsch Promedia 400's and some onboard via audio "Ac'97". On my old alienware computer (before it got stolen from my house :/) i had the same speakers and a sound blaster live, which was alright. I was just curious about which cards would be the best nowadays... I was interested in that Audigy but haven't been able to find much info on it, I also heard that it had some troubles on certain boards. I have a FIC Kt133a motherboard

You can use google.com or the AnandTech search to find a lot of reviews on the Audigy and Santa Cruz soundcard. Either one will make those Klipsch speakers shine.

The Philipse AE and the Turtle Beach Santa Cruz are both great cards.
